UNWOVEN - ISTD Brief     May, 2026


UNWOVEN is a response to the 2026 ISTD assessment brief “Trade Matters” in the hopes of revitalising interest and appreciation for the art of Turkish Carpet Weaving.

I focused on the experiences of weavers whose livelihoods are being threatened by the modernisation of this beautiful, traditional craft. Hand-weaving and creating this physical publication furthered my appreciation for traditional practices connected to my heritage.

I developed a new visual identity for my university radio show, creating merchandise and promotional assets that helped raise the highest listener numbers in the station’s history.

Type beer    May 2026


Type beer is a conceptual beer brand reimagining social drinking for a Gen Z audience.

Statistics show nearly 80% of Gen Z are experiencing dating app burnout. Online dating has changed the definition of genuine connection. Spontaneity is disappearing, and organic love stories are harder to find. Type beer was created to revive real-life interactions through a matchmaking system that lets beer drinkers connect and start conversations.

My role in this team project was to design the entire website in Figma, creating an intuitive platform that encouraged interaction and connection between universities and colleges.

Men in Taghazout

“Men in Taghazout” documents a trip to the surf village of Taghazout, Morocco. During my time there, I was welcomed into the quiet everyday lives of the men and boys who shape the community. Their slow rhythm and routine seemed unfazed by visitors, and it was wonderful to be immersed in their patient way of working and living.

This report is driven by forward-moving language, reflecting Live Nation’s aims to continue evolving and progressing in the sustainability sector. The concept “Making Moves” uses proactive verbs to mirror the energy and enthusiasm felt by their fans at events.
